The book introduces the readers to the places that are connected with the activities of people who were involved in the resistance activities linked to the then Soviet Union during the Second World War. From the intelligence officers who operated in the Protectorate since the collapse of Czechoslovakia, to the paratroopers sent from various centres in the Soviet Union with intelligence tasks, to the purely combat groups deployed with the aim of creating partisan groups in the occupied territory and strengthening the armed struggle against the Nazis. In addition to the fates of specific soldiers, citizens of pre-war Czechoslovakia, most of whom underwent special training in the USSR, the book also recounts the stories of their domestic helpers, without whom the stated goals could not have been achieved.
