Biographical Dictionary of the Czech Lands, 25th volume Hl-Hol

The twenty-fifth volume of the Biographical Dictionary of the Czech Lands presents readers with biographies of personalities whose names begin with the letters Hl up to Hol and represents another part of the extensive encyclopedic project which is being created in cooperation with more than a hundred authors from academic, university and other institutions under the guidance of the Biographical Department of the Institute of History of the Czech Academy of Sciences. The project is to contain over twenty-five thousand biograms - entries presenting information on the life and work of personalities from all eras and fields of human activity connected with the Czech lands (regardless of ethnic origin) who were born, lived and worked in this territory, even if they spent only part of their lives here.
