Nazism versus Occultism in the Protectorate

BERNARDOVÁ KRISTÝNA

The book primarily focuses on the very unusual but still largely overlooked life stories of two Prague hermeticists, Jan Kefer and Jiří Arvéd Smíchovský, against the background of their relationship to occultism and Nazism. In addition to depicting these two personalities, who were united by their passion for occult teachings and divided by their relationship with the Nazi regime, the author focuses on the almost unknown Nazi action against occultists that took place in the Protectorate during World War II. Although this is a work of nonfiction, supported not only by many contemporary sources, some passages of the book may sound unbelievable to the reader. Nevertheless, everything that can be read in the pages of this publication most likely actually took place.
