The Geology of the Central Bohemian Uplands

This book presents the first ever major comprehensive synthesis of the geological and morphological evolution of the Central Bohemian Uplands (České středohoří) and selected isolated volcanic occurrences in its vicinity. The focal point of this collective monograph is the geomorphological evolution of the mountain range as a continuous volcanic belt, situated within its broader European and Central European context. The publication symbolically coincides with the 50th anniversary of the designation of České středohoří as a Protected Landscape Area.
